And What Would Rome Say
1 February, 2002
Author: Daphne
And WHAT will Rome say?
That you stood between life and death.
And WHAT will Rome say?
That amidst my chaos
You made atonement for my mistakes.
That my destruction was at hand
That the plague of death was knocking
Desperately at my doorstep.
That the love you gave me will not be in vain.
And WHAT will Rome say?
That unseen forces are more powerful
May YOU be blind to them.
And because of you I now have faith.
I'm in the arms of God Himself.
And WHAT will Rome say?
That the Empire in me had fallen
It was demolished
Ah! But you built it in one day!
And WHAT will Rome say?
That I was an infidel and for me you stood
Between life and death.
You made atonement for me.
You made atonement.
Yes!!!! That, is.....
WHAT ROME WILL SAY!
