The Wolf In Every Man
27 November, 2005
Author: Spinelli
She was a beauty,
he a phony.
Her heart secure,
his love unpure.
His intentions were wrong,
but she sang a love song.
He seeked only pleasure,
while she seeked a man who could assure.
Their kisses sensual,
or so she thought.
She felt it in her mouth,
but he down south.
Her heart beating fast,
for she thought she found love at last.
She fell in love again,
with every kiss he took her pain.
Little did she know,
he was actually a foe.
That one kiss got so intense,
she had to step up her denfense.
He pushed her to the floor,
he wanted something more.
She was afraid,
she knew she was as good as dead.
She should have listened to her momma,
who told her men were all the same.
To every one of them,
love was just a game.
A game in which they wished to score,
with every women they adore.
A pretty face with the perfect curves,
men they think they all deserve.
She struggled and she screamed,
for she never would have dreamed.
That her knight in shining armour,
was nothing like he seemed.
In her eyes there were tears,
now all the men she fears.
She laid on the floor motionless,
feeling only the emptiness.
Her life now stained,
she'll never trust again.
Her hopes and dreams all lost.
This lesson a heavy cost.

The way I see it, you've gone through a lot of pain, and I know it'll be hard to trust again, as you've said. But don't let something like that take control of your life, or you'll just be letting him win all over again. It's hard, but believe me when I say this.. Not all men are like that, and I'm sure that there's someone out there for you.. Stay strong, Mike |
