My Heart Cries For You
28 November, 2005
Author: Terrie*
You know how easily my heart breaks
You know how sadly my heart aches
Since you died I’ve been here all alone
Emptiness is all I have known
I’m Tryin’ to get home to you
You know how much I want to be held
Wrapped in the warmth of a flesh to weld
my tears can not stop
they flood my very heart
I want to get home to you
thought i could touch what I felt before
my heart hurts from lovin' so much more
i dissect my heart everyday
so many obstacles in my heart's way
I find myself needin' to get home to you
Needy yes you know me
Only thinkin’ of what used to be
So tired of bein’ all alone
All night long I look up towards the sky
I’m tryin’ with all my heart to get home to you
I search for you in the far most unreachable, un-searchable brightest star
Wishin’ to be where you are
I’m cryin ’ to get home to you
darkness of the shadow seems
to linger over my thoughts of you
take me home with you

Once again, it feels peaceful and tranquil in its own way, yet brings a bit of empathy for all readers to share with you. Very Nice! |
