You Reached In So Deep
29 November, 2005
Author: Terrie*
You asked me why do I cry
I opened my heart and told you why
You told me, you would be there
In every tear to share
You said, I ask for nothin’
Just let me be here next to you
To help you get through
You said everything was goin’ to be okay
You promised to be there when skies were gray
Sang me to sleep upon every blue moon night
You stretched out your arms
Holdin’ me so close each and everyday
and absorbed my loneliness away
I asked now what is it I can do for you
You said just your friendship will do
