In Shadows
1 December, 2005
Author: Ing Twi Demalah
The voice that calls you
As you find yourself alone
The still, quiet, of your breath
In letters as yet unwritten
And poems, whose sonnets
Are neither spoken, nor penned
There, do I hold you to me
There alone do I kiss you
In shadows and deep places
Which, to the eyes of men lay unseen
In the dark recesses of the heart
The haze of a long forgotten dream
In those hidden spaces
secret rooms, that we dare not speak of
Here do I wait for you
It is here, that I love you
So I will love you from the shadows
I love you only, in shadows
------- Author's Notes -------
Inspired by a letter received from a friend. I wrote what ever came to mind. |
