You, I, And A Midnight Kiss
6 December, 2005
Author: RubyDragon
I call your name to the starlit sky
hoping as before to hear your sweet voice,
in the distance I hear a cry, not yours,
aside from this only the wind makes a noise,
I lower my head and start to turn
suddenly I hear you, my heart quickens, my blood burns,
I wait to hear you again, waiting for something,
sadly as nothing comes about, I stroll,
slowly and quietly, I leave slightly disappointed
without you, inside of me is a hole,
I guess I never loved you as much as I should
I know it was inside me to, I just never could,
I wander in the moonlight, reminiscing
you were always here in my soul and heart,
now because I let you go, I bleed for you
a lonely tear escapes my eye, from my cheek it parts,
as it hits the icy floor, I make one last wish
to be back with you and share a quiet midnight kiss,
Just you and I.
