A Tear For Angela
6 December, 2005

As she lay asleep I watch her
remembering it all in my dreams,
I would watch her dream and smile
the Angel of my past, now all I hear are screams,
tis the pain of my heart and soul that calls
the bitter anguish of when the snow falls,
It is a long time ago, I walked alone
a crisp snow covered ground,
the bite of the frosty wind against my face
my tears frozen to my cheeks I fell down,
to my knees, gone from me I truly feel
loving her is all I knew, I cry as I kneel,
Getting up I dry my frozen eyes
the time is now, I hang on to love no more,
once again I start to walk, to walk away
leaving my heart in blood, a puddle on the floor,
start anew is where I will walk solitary with fear
as I walk I glance back with one last tear....
....A tear for Angela
