That Piece Of Me
8 December, 2005
Author: Leah06
I feel like half my heart is missing.
The half that is you.
So much has happened.
I have changed.
Things aren’t near the same.
Half of me is still missing.
I am one year older.
One year stronger.
And I have lasted one more year without you.
You have wondered on without me
Picking up others along the way
Leaving me behind
While you try to see if they are the one for you.
But none of them are.
You know who she is
How much you love her
And how you are not the same without her.
You get hurt each time you try another path
And only one is the right one.
I am right here
And I am waiting for you to realize
I am the right path.
Take my journey
I won’t ever break your heart
Or make you cry
And you will never regret.
Let’s start our own story,
Once upon a time
To very different people fell in love
And it is up to you
Will we get our happy ending?
