Fear
16 December, 2005
Author: Senko
She runs in circles,
ands loses her way,
scared and depressed,
she wishes she didn't have to stay.
Trapped in a glass prison,
of her own design,
she slams into clear walls,
and tries to find a place to hide.
The imaginary yells,
reverberating through her mind,
she stumbles forward,
and loses more time.
Twilight sets in,
along with reality,
as her crystal cage,
disintegrates in seconds.
Stopping in awe,
and looking around,
she finally relaxes,
scarce making a sound.
She has learned her lesson,
now bright and free,
then vowed under her breathe,
"Never again will I let fear overcome me."
------- Author's Notes -------
This is about me finally seeing the light in life. I compared it to being scared and then conquering it. |
