So here we stand face to face
knowing the love that
we shared has
drifted apart

You came and told me it was over
and that you had to
accept your life the way
it is

As for myself there will be
no one else
that could ever take this place in
my heart

Would you call the love we shared
just a moment passing
in time?
As for me that was a moment
I could never forget
it was a love that was so hard
to find

If you were to call my name
I would come running for you
in the snow and the rain...
And i would come running back
into your life

Now that your gone from my life
its nearly driving me out
of my mind
I am forever thinking
what you meant to me
and all that you have left behind
