Silence
10 March, 2003
Author: Dave
Listen to the silence, as it speaks of all my fears
My soul melting slowly into a puddle of my tears
Listen to my anguish, I try to cry out loud
I slowly fall away from you, drifting off this misty cloud
Why can’t you hear my cries, is my silence all too much?
Or is it that you long for me, my scent, my taste, my touch.
I am not scared of death, rather scared to be alone
For with the solitude you bring, my heart will set in stone.
