My First Glance
27 December, 2005
Author: Lori
There you stood by the corner of the bar
My eyes followed you from afar
When my eyes caught yours we gave each other a smile
There was something there. Something I havent felt for a while
I knew i wanted more from you than just your smile
What was I to do? to see if you felt the same way too
You made your move as I headed for the door
I thought to myself could he want more
I never thought I could ever let this happen again
with just one touch of your hand, you tore down my wall
Then it didnt take much for the rest to fall
but, you caught me and held on tight
I knew i was in for the ride of my life
Now there's a distance of just the memory of your smile
I told you before i am in this for a while
Hold on tight is what you said to me
I am holding on as tight as can be
