Tribute
10 February, 2003
Author: Dave
I was but an empty canvas colour free and lost
The path I followed was a mess
Jumbled and criscrossed
Then you came along one day,
Palate in your hand, you painted what I am today,
you painted something grand.
I owe you more than you might expect
For you changed me through and through
And although my mood is sometimes gray
Natty, I love you.
