New Years Peace

Peace -
That’s the wish.
Different awarenesses
keep peace stagnant,
floating,
traveling
in so many different directions-
dissecting at intersections
of newly acquired knowledge,
meeting briefly
during epiphanies and
shaking with shifts
in personal paradigms.
Peace drifts softly...
over newborns sleep,
over grandparents contentment.
It blows always
over every thing-
not always seen-
Hiding
in war torn scenery,
behind clouds of tragedy-
It whispers hope.
Peace sings-
with young peoples
good intentions and wishes-
with older persons wisdoms.
Peace drowns
with distorted visions-
social injustices-
bad governing forces.
Peace - Peace..
for ones self-
for the world-
for Mother Earth-
for the universal
consiousness.
May Peace be with all.
