Discolorations Of Skin
30 December, 2005
Author: Tzuhsi
If I cut myself open
Would you crawl inside
To save my soul
Wake up my tomorrow
Warm what has become so cold
Does it scare you to see
The marks of my fears
When you see the cuts
Do you realize all my tears
A sign of damnation
I find bliss in self mutilation
Masking the pain of my existence
I slice my wrists
This is my penance
Crimson tears drip to the floor
As my knife
Meets the flesh once more
Another scar for the skin
One more lie to fall in
The scars on my arms
Are just discolorations of skin
For no one sees the true pain
These scars leave inside me
