The Karate Kid
31 December, 2005
Author: Lori
I may be little
I may be small
but, that doesnt stop me
I will never take a
fall
It is neck and neck
2 points for
both of us
I am breathing like
the beat of drums
I lift my leg,
I slowly aim,
Balancing with pressure
I look out the corner of my eye
I let my kick go
My teacher, and the students
with their mouths opened wide,
Their eyes are bulging, and their
arms swinging high
My kick goes in.
A roar of voices start to cheer
I have won this match
that I have been waiting for
all year
