Common Bonds
1 September, 2003
Author: David -Doc- Byron
(A Dedication to the late Jim Morrison)
I wish I could have known you,
but I was just a kid back then
listening to the radio,
and fighting to feel free in an unreal world.
Just like you.
Just like you, I had addictions,
whether sex, drugs, or rock n roll,
or the demon bottle hooch,
that will also steal away your soul.
I wish we could have met,
and shared our common bonds,
of two fellow travelers,
on the way to our beyond.
To Jim From Doc:
REST IN PEACE
