My Broken Soul's Resurrection
13 January, 2006
Author: The Lost Girl
I'm tangled in your words,
they're something inescapable,
they cut me as if swords,
Break me when I'm unbreakable.
They pierce my searing heart,
make me shudder from within,
From the minute that they start,
My wall grows weak and thin.
I've managed to stay away,
from any hurt, love, and fears,
But all the words you say,
wipe away those accomplished years.
I hear the sound of your voice,
and I know I'm scared to death,
but it's like I have no choice,
to listen as you steal my breath.
You're the essence of perfection,
something I don't deserve to receive,
You're my broken souls' resurrection;
An image of terror I don't want to leave.

ShyHeart (4.89.245.50) -- Friday, January 13 2006, 04:24 pm Lost Girl, What has come over you, something warm and real, I hope. Yet, in all its beauty, you still fea a final tear. Perhaps, not this time, seems your is in the right place this, you want it all, but will take all that is woth keeping your heart, and let the rest go away. Wonderful expression and tenderfully written. ShyHeart |
Mike (82.35.78.186) -- Sunday, January 15 2006, 11:33 pm This poem reaches out to me. It seems as if you've found something to help you, to 'save' you, in a sense. However, you're still scared of it. And no matter what you think, you DO deserve it, and you deserve to enjoy it. Go for it, girl! |
