Starting Anew
14 January, 2006
Author: Catyrose
Tonight we walked together in the park
The moon was full
Beams of light streamed all around
I gazed up at a face so fresh
Radiant in the moons light
No memories here
For me or you
It's all brand new
The words we spoke were few at first
Interspersed with awkward silences
Before too long you smiled at me
Creases forming around the corners of your eyes
Eyes so blue sparkling on this starry night
No memories here
For me or you
It's all brand new
You reached for my hand
I dared not pull away
You clasped my flesh within your own
I warmed to your gentle touch
No memories here
For me or you
It's all brand new
