The World Of Forget

In a world of forget all this life will die
The world is all dying so why should we try?
There's a mother with her children and they're on the grass just chilling
Until a car, popped the curb and caused another killing
The town all banned together and they cried out for the loss
They hosted a town virgil with a decorated cross
In the middle of the virgil a shot came from the street
A "playa" now a "slaya" has a body at his feet
The kids are now forgotten and the crowd's before the store
They're looking at the body, it was just another whore
Druggie jokes and slutty notes all rang out from the crowd
Because she was a slut, man, the killer made them proud
Who's to weigh the importance of life when another passes
I'd like to take down all their names and proceed to beat their asses
It's not until they're old and withered that they face regret
The ones that can change a thing are in the world of forget

In a world of forget man our faith runs dry
We say it's strong as ever but we're living a lie
Compare the amount of people that will help those in need
With the amount of people that will sell their souls for greed
I'm not all that religious but I lived the best I could
I doubt that I will go to hell but most believe I should
Most of them would cast me down without a second thought
They took the words of Jesus and contorted what he taught
They then go act all righteous, they think that they are right
Those that don't agree with them are sinners cast from light
I helped more than than most of them, I will not regret
Helping out all those in need in this world of forget

------- Author's Notes -------

Before this kicks off another religion debate, I'm not dissing anyone's beliefs here. This was written from a time I rode a bus filled with a lot of fanatics that seemed intent on claiming I was going to hell because I didn't act, dress, or do the things they did.

I am with the belief that it doesn't matter what you believe religion-wise. If there is a god, I'm sure you will receive passage to Heaven as long as you lived your life well. (Example: by doing things such as helping others, etc. unlike the bus-o-fanatics I described earlier).

One Thing The World Never Forgets...,

Seiz, Another poem appreciated by me and many others. The one thing the world never forgets is; The Truth Is Always Fanatical.

Slightly iffy

I thought this writing would be a little "iffy" but submitted it anyway because I thought at least someone could appreciate where I was coming from.
