Shadow In My Bed

Each night you reach but, all you find is a shadow in your bed
Thank God for pillows, they are all I have, as I reach for your shadow
I feel so warm and safe, all my love watches me as I hug my pillow
I want more, something than can touch me, won't let go of my pillow
I'm safe until shown otherwise, I have the shadow and love my pillow
What is wrong with me, I love a shadow every night, hold it close to me
Feel a touch, feel a hand upon my breasts, lips touch mine and fingers that search
My body. As I cry to my pillow, it feels like life itself, as I hold my pillow
I fall into another world that accepts my heart, then hear the birds begin to sing
I open up my eyes and thank my shadow, for loving me last night, time to take
My shower, get my heart ready for another day, so I can come home to a heart
That only loves me and as we go asleep, my pillow makes my heart sing to
A Shadow In My Bed

That gal (202.161.146.50) -- Wednesday, January 18 2006, 02:24 pm U r in luv...after all u r just a human being like the rest of us. Maybe b'coz u r scared of people who'r not ready to make commitments and just flirt around that u r naming your feelings as dreams. U rn't inferior to anybody. It's just that some people don't deserve u. Anyways, good work! keep writing |
