I Would
19 January, 2006
Author: Ing Twi Demalah
How much do I care for you?
How much would I do?
Ask and I will tell you,
Ask and I would do anything for you.
Would I swim an ocean?
Or climb a mountain on high?
Ask and I would even grow wings,
And for you learn how to fly.
I will pick you up,
When you have fallen down,
Carry you when you are hurt,
Or make you smile when you frown.
Could I be a White Knight?
Fighting evil wizards in blackened hood,
Or even a hopeless romantic?
If you asked me I could.
Brother, friend, love,
even a son,
ask of me anything
and it will be done.
Because I care,
as a true friend should.
Will I do all of this and more?
If you asked me I would.
------- Author's Notes -------
Just a simple poem about how friendship should be. Nothing more Nothing Less. |

Meridian (70.106.29.239) -- Thursday, January 19 2006, 09:15 pm Hey Ing! Help! I'm Trapped; trapped like mice. Be my Super-man and fly to me. LOL! Your poem was very sweet. You'd go at any lengths to please your friend....just make sure they are a "true" friend. When I say that, I'm talking to myself as well. Don't mean to give you a sermon, but once again magnificent poem! |
