Questioning
29 January, 2006
Author: Catyrose
I believe in a divine presence
But you can’t cuddle up to the omnipotent
I believe there is a master plan
Only wish I had a copy of the blueprints
I believe you are the beginning and the end
So far I’m stuck somewhere in the middle
I believe in the power of prayer
Dare I ask? I may not agree with the answer
I believe your timing is in my best interests
Yet I wish you’d speed things up a bit
I believe I was created in your image
Forever assuming the role of the outcast
