I Called Her Friend
29 January, 2006
Author: Catyrose
I called her friend
I trusted her
I offered her my heart
She listened to me rant and rave
She offered love and care
She eased my pain
I never thought we’d part
She was my home
My hiding place
My friend right from the start
One cold and wintry day reality set in
The truth was there
That look upon her face
I’ve known before
Where had she gone?
Or had she ever been?
