I Am Woman
30 January, 2006
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I am woman,
Hear me roar,
So proud to be from a culture
Where less is more,
And dress size determines
An adolescents self-worth,
A fate pre-determined
By gender at birth.......
Where all of the dolls
Imply impossible odds,
Encouraging -
Condoning -
The female facade.......
But like I said, I am woman,
Hear me roar,
So proud to be from a culture
Where less is more.
