In A Moment
2 February, 2006
Author: Clive B Ringshall
We‘d talk in silence never hearing the words,
Looking lost within each other,
Time strolled by a distance became,
Screaming words in my head; still not heard,
Sitting together yet miles apart,
Looking for the love in together we once found,
Looking to each other for a hand to hold,
Over time we lost the gift of another,
Over time we lost much of each other,
Then one day we talked for hours on end,
That day rolled right into the next,
We never look back but now ahead,
For what was lost has now been found,
Each day looks brighter than those left behind,
Each day we hold while kissing away,
Each moment apart is a moment missing you,
Tonight as we hug and celebrate our love,
Tonight as we love we celebrate in delight,
Each night we hold; as we say I love you
Good Night
