Solitude
2 February, 2006
Author: Catyrose
Candle light illuminates the darkness of the room I dwell in
The scent of the sea breeze flows past the open window
An ever so light drizzle falls upon the tin roof
Delighting the senses
Savoring the solitude of this moment
As I do the taste of milk chocolate
Oh! and how I love chocolate
Veiled in silk and satin I recline upon the bed
Shades of palest green surround
Plush pillows beneath my head
A feeling of serenity overtakes the spirit
Floating away to a distant shore that only I may find
A quiet space, a special place deep within my soul
