Let Her In
4 February, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
It's cold in here,
In my mind.
It's been cold in here,
For the longest time.
The warmth is there,
Inside my heart.
It's locked up in there,
Waiting for a jump start.
i haven't found one,
No, not yet.
Can there be one?
Should i just forget?
No you need it,
It's cold outside.
Go and find it.
Do not hide.
There it is now,
Inside her eyes.
Her face, her smile now,
That's where it lies.
She waits for you now.
She waits all day.
You stand around now,
With nothing to say.
Don't stay behind now.
That never works out.
Don't stay behind now,
Just let out a shout.
You know you want her,
To hold her close.
But you do not go to her,
You just suppose.
Shes right outside your door,
Looking in.
You lock the door,
So she can't come in.
Let her in,
And your warmth can begin.
To beat back now,
Like it used to know how.
