Through My Eyes
2 February, 2006
Author: jaynie _burns
Every day I open my eyes
to be faced with the bright sun
every morning why do I try?
Everyday why do I care?
all the time why do I cry?
Friends are meant to be there
to lend a shoulder to cry on
mothers are meant to be there
to give you advice, they kmow nothing about
Grandmothers are meant to be ther
to squeeze your cheek and give you comfort.
But somethimes that never happend,
mothers are never around,
fathers are dead
friends don't care
and grandmothers are full of worry.
So every night I close my eyes
waiting for today to begin tomorrow.
