Yesterday, Tomorrow, Today
6 February, 2006
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Days before I ran away,
Days before I’d shy away,
Days before a distance I’d keep
Days before you and I were a dream,
Days I’d hold you tight in my thought
Today we sat and talked a while,
Today we sat holding hands in style,
Today we made plans for a weekend of fun,
Today you just held me forever,
Tomorrow we’re closer than way back then,
Tomorrow we’re closer and dream together,
Tomorrow we’re sailing our life now forever,
Tomorrow your hand is always in mine,
If only I could express,
You’d feel how much you mean to me,
You’d see every word in my eyes,
You’d know my love is so much more,
You’d know our love will forever grow,
These words I’ll hope will lead you this way,
Valentines Day will be in my everyday that follows
If you’ll be;
My yesterday, My tomorrow, My today
Forever more
