I’ve spent my whole life, along with you,
I understand the worth, it takes two,
Our time is precious, our time is pure,
My love is certain, that’s for sure,
But I try so hard and it doesn’t work,
I’ll be your friend for what it’s worth...

My life is worthless, without you here,
My heart is empty, without you dear,
My mind is gone now, where did it go?
And you are gone now, and it is so,

My eyes are empty, can’t shed a tear,
My feelings gone now, but are you here?

This poem was actually a song I wrote. Since I can't sing it for you, you can read it! I feel very proud of this poem and I know it was all from the heart, that's the best kind! God bless

Fellings
I enjoyed this read, and can feel the emotions / song within them. After love has gone it can be hard to return 'Just Friends' but it is always worth it to be a friend Nice words thank you for sharing your soul.
