The rain brought with it a kaleidoscope of colors
Tracing a rainbow across the sky
Altering images
In my mind’s eye

Crystal clear I see today
Tears of rain have washed away
Illusions held onto in the past
Some dreams are not made to last

Floating high amongst the clouds
Gazing down at days gone by
Chasing rainbows in the sky

Gliding forward
Never back
New dreams form
As day begins to dawn
