Hearts And Flowers
10 February, 2006
Author: Catyrose
I plucked a rose today
It’s waiting here for you
A remembrance of the times we’ve shared
And loved each other true
Another rose of yellow
For the friendship that we share
The way we laugh and carry on
And reveal how much we care
A bouquet of multi-colored flowers I picked
Just for you
To give you thanks for the little things
You often say and do
A crystal vase etched with lace
With rainbow colored flowers
Sent out today
To one who lives so far away
A rose colored goblet
Brimming with rosy red petals
Shipped off to one who I hold dear
Far apart, yet held closely within
A warm and loving heart
The day of love and friendship is near
So flowers I send to all my friends
Those near and far
Who live within my heart
No matter the distance or times we spend apart
To express the love I hold
For and each and everyone of you
My dear friends true
You hold a special place
Within my heart
Whether we be near
Or so very far apart
