Grey-eyed Goddess
11 February, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
Grey-eyed goddess
Sitting next to me
Many years always there
All these years separately
Between two beings
Was built a wall
Nothing known can make it fall
A shot from an arrow
Bulls eye on my heart
Too deep to pull out
Too far to tear us apart
Opposites attract
Similarities collide
All to make a feeling
All too hard to hide
Even though i try
Everyday the tides come
Tides of emotion set in
To escape is to sleep
Awaken in a harbor
Washed up on a beach
Arms reach down
From high upon a steed
Is this a dream
Or our reality
Arms embrace
Feel the immortality
Alone with the moon
And your heart
Cutting deep into my chest
Two becomes one
one becomes more
Out heart becomes sore
Too much passion locked inside
Release!
Let go!
Don’t run and hide
Let it out
Let it Inside
Fragile corpse
Left all alone
On the beach for the beast
Beasts of burden
Burden is a beast
They will come
The crows will feast
The fire left unlit
The honor left for dead
The goddess gone now
Smile upon her face
“Another dead,
Another good day.
Or year, i don’t know”
For an immortal
It’s all the same
Love can’t last
it can only kill
Your body will be left
Upon as unsacred hill
