Love, Your Best Friend
14 February, 2006
Author: Shorty
I love you more than you will ever know,
And I can never tell you,
For the consequences are too great,
And my best friend is worth the wait.
I thought that she could make you happier than I can,
But then I realized,
That love is what makes life woth while
and you are never going to find my love with her.
She may make you happy for a little while,
But I always know that in the end,
You'd rather be with me.
There's a satisfaction from your other relationships not working out,
That I am still here and you still love me the same when they leave,
But I am disappointed every time,
That your idea of how much I love you is more than you know,
and you probably never will.
