One Lonely Night
20 February, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
Freezing in the desert,
Alone and cold tonight.
Down the path taken too many a time.
Over and over,
Down this road,
Through the endless darkness.
Snow black, not white.
Cloud there, but not seen.
Darkness all surrounding,
Nothing to do but go.
I’m walking a lonely road.
Nothing here but a sound,
Laughter off in the distance.
Who can it be?
A stranger or a friend?
Whoever it is,
Your eyes are straight ahead.
