Marble Masterpiece/ Reawakening
20 February, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
Snow falling in her face.
Beautiful white stars,
Falling from heaven.
Filling in the cracks,
Left from a smile.
The stone felled to the ground,
Marble all around,
From this she has become.
Perfection, a reflection of beauty,
A phenomenon unforknown.
Why I am happy,
What can she do to me?
Bringing out a part from beneath.
That hid until,
The void started to fill.
Then awakened are the powers,
Of verse and rhyme.
A new day to come forth,
From the fiery depths of a broken man,
Now fixed, and healed again.
Left with only memories of pain.
What is there left to gain?
Subsidation of the shadows,
Ghost feelings from the past.
Look only to the present,
And days of future fast.
The image is her now,
Sent down from Love.
Venus feels the sorrow,
And cures the illness.
A miserable excuse for a man,
Now a loving partner.
Just take it one day at a time,
She will get closer to thyne.
