Lovely Realization
21 February, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
I found you lying there,
Without a care,
Is anyone there,
Is it an illusion at that i stare?
No you are in front of me,
As real as can be,
Waiting for me?
Am i blinded by beauty?
Are you here to corrupt my pain?
If so, a good job you’ve done.
Pleasure beyond belief,
Has been brought unto me.
Twenty minutes together,
Feels like forever in the end.
Ecstasy, feelings that could only be Love,
Feeling i feel when I’m with you.
This is the real deal,
Nothing felt like this before.
Truly Love can be mistaken,
But no, not this time.
If the Lust is created it can't be.
Only if Love is found,
Can it last?
Only because of creation,
Can something be destroyed?
What we have is everlasting,
Deep into the soul,
Concrete that just gets harder with age.
ENDING I:
Can Love really last,
Until death due us part?
Or is death just a milestone,
That we see as we ride along?
ENDING II:
Can Love really last,
Until death due us part?
Or is death just a marker,
A milestone in an infinite journey?
Hopefully we won’t find out for long,
I don’t know what i would do with your absence.
But enough of death, now onto life,
New discoveries every minute of every day.
With you i’ll hold the world’s knowledge in my hands,
As long as you’re between them.
------- Author's Notes -------
There are two different endings to this poem. I was going to submit it as two poems (Version I and II), but i figured that i should keep them together. I wrote it the one way first, then after copying it one day into a notebook, another version of it was born. I don't like to destroy any of my work no matter how bad it may be, so i keeped both way. Now whoever reads it can see that no poem or story is ever really done. You can continue to write ten years and stil not be done with a poem. |
