Remember our first ever time,
Remember that time our words were rushed,
Remember our bodies all entwined,
Together we shared much more than us,
Together we shared undying love,
Together you and I became just one.

Days, nights, weeks, years followed by,
Many times together we shared our bond,
Tonight as we lay savoring this moment,
Tonight as I hold your hand tight,
We kiss just as we did that first night,
Our Love shared as it did back then.

New words I now tell you,
Words you and I have said in passing,
Words we never thought would happen,
Words that will change us day to day.
Words that will bring sadness and much joy,
Words that will bring more unconditional Love,

This day our life is one,
This day our love will last forever,
Tomorrow our life will soon be another,
Tomorrow our love will be forevermore,
Tonight we lay in each others arms,
Tonight we’ll sleep until 9 am
For soon our names will soon be forgotten,
Our names replaced with Mum and Dad
