View From The Window
23 February, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
The mountaintop is bright today,
It takes a shine in a peculiar way.
The sun in front, the moon behind,
Is the radiance too much?
The white is gone, the green is black,
The memories come painfully back.
Sitting here, in a window clear,
My mind starts to scramble.
The world outside, it is so vast,
So forget the things of the past.
The world is full of better things,
Crooked people, as well as silver rings.
Diamonds are forever,
So is Love so bold.
Even at this distance,
Part of my heart you hold.
