Wondering Still
12 March, 2006
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Times that pass I read so well,
Times together I always knew,
Times with another yet true to you,
Closer you became never giving true,
Closer I fell wanting to believe in only you,
A distance was kept that soon would break,
Being next to you but still worlds apart,
Come closer let me touch your heart again dear,
You shattered my world and that’s alright?
Turning back time,
I’ll always remember this day,
Move on I’ll do today and see you in another light,
Tonight the stars all shine too bright,
Tonight the clouds cover the moon,
Tonight I realize
Days and nights will never be the same as before,
I’ll be left anticipating,
I’ll be left wondering if it’s a letter to him,
I’ll be left thinking who’s that on the phone,
I’ll always be left hurting inside.
