Where Do You Go?
15 March, 2006
Author: Jamie
When the world starts closing in,
You retreat back into yourself.
All you feel is despondency.
You want everything to go away.
Life is funny that way.
This is the time you are to draw people closer,
And all you want to do is run.
You put up the wall
To hide your true depressed feelings inside.
People who don’t know what is going on,
They are totally lost at the idea of withdrawing.
One day you are on the top of the world,
The next day is the bottom of the barrel.
Life is a roller coaster you can’t get off.
Why does life treat you that way?
Where do you go to hide?
