Love Is Always There
16 March, 2006
Author: Marion Carroll
Some stars are bright and constant,
and they guide us through the night.
Others fall through the abyss:
a brilliant flash of light.
So, too, is love a gift,
that we receive in different ways.
Some last for but a moment,
and some will longer stay.
Both kinds of stars are beautiful,
and if you look, you'll see
Love never really leaves us.
It lives on in memory.
We can choose to fill our hearts
with pain from love we've lost;
or let our hearts beat stronger,
and not regret the cost.
Love ripples in the Universe
with each kindness that we share,
and like the stars that shine at night,
surrounds us in the air.
Believe the love you live for,
will find you, when it's right.
It's always there, just like the stars,
that fade with morning light.
