My Words
16 March, 2006
Author: Tammy
You take my words and twist them
somehow making them your own.
Don't you know these are my words
and they are carved in me like stone.
These words are all I have
to get me through this world.
I have been tormented, and abused
a neglected fragile girl.
My words have made me stronger
now I am standing tall.
No more pushing me around
I shall never again fall.
These words helped me escape
much darkness in my life.
My words pulled me through
when I was in a world of strife.
I am now a fighter
everyday I fight to survive.
These words I write has kept
this Fragile Poet alive.
