Elusion
16 March, 2006
Author: Charmaine
What doesn’t kill you,
Only makes you stronger.
I pulled through the tough times,
And emerged victorious.
Throughout these months,
I tried to put my feelings onto paper.
But my thoughts wouldn’t flow,
The words simply didn’t come.
Months came and went,
But I still faced an empty paper.
This feeling of frustration,
Left me feeling completely helpless.
Like a baby learning how to walk,
I start by taking tiny steps.
Maybe one day the dam will break,
And I’ll find the words that continue to elude me.
