A Girl I Knew
17 March, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
I knew a girl
With a smile willing to kill
I know her face
This demon is destroying this place
Grey clouds overhead
Acid tears and toxic gems
Raining down
Enemies not friends
I knew a girl
She jumped too far last week
Too much to handle
The cold steel to her cheek
Storm clouds overhead
Boiling lakes and electric winds
Glazed eyes
A corpse left behind
I knew this girl
Cheerful as can ever be
I know where she sleeps
Six feet from this summer heat
Calm in the air ahead
The sky clearing and the snow settling
Frozen wasteland
Clear slate again
