Sanctuary
18 March, 2006
Author: Catyrose
Lying still on this quiet night
Watching the stars as they shine above
Warm and safe
Surrounded by his love
These mountains and trails
Were created by his hand
So very long ago
Providing a sense of peace that few will understand
When life becomes too fast as it often does
I retreat to the nearby hills
In natures’ arms I rest in peace
As I explore his will
A sense of completeness washes over me
As the rain falls gently outside the tent-flapped door
Renewing a weary spirit
Communing with my lord, once more
