Dream Me Home
18 March, 2006
Author: Catyrose
Tender words spoken in
The softest whisper
Echo through the mist
A flowing canvas reveals
A radiant image
Poised beneath the clouds
A fragrant scent
Of roses in bloom
Drifts upon the breeze
A plump down pillow
A tapestry of vivid shades of blue
Unravels from the clouds above
Glistening drops of dew
Trickle down from the heavens
Providing a cushion to light upon
Slowly descending to the surface
A spirit so fair takes form
Inviting me to rise with her
At long last
Returning to our heavenly home
------- Author's Notes -------
written after waking from a dream about my mother who has resided in heaven for many years now. |
