Your sister loved you
She would've given anything for you
But you left her behind
Oh careless feelings

Your cousin loved you
She would've died to end your misery
But you left her behind
Oh aching pain
Your friends loved you
We would've been here for you
But you left us behind

Last night at 5:00 PM, my friend Mikey hung himself in his basement right beneath his sister's room.. This is for him.. |

After my mother's brother killed himself, she told me that "Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem", and she was right. That statement puts everything into the right perspective. I'm sorry that Mikey didn't feel there were any other options. I feel for all of you he left behind. |

I just wish I could've done something to prevent it. But she was right, my dad said the exact same thing when he found out, n' it's just not worth it. The world continues on and on, people in a few years won't even remember probably.. But thank you, I appreciate it n' I'm sorry you had to go through it too. |

I have always thought to die you have to be in a mind set, but to hang yourself, you have to be brave...I dunno, it sounds stupid, even to myself. A death does not have to be 'bloody', to be gruesome. I am sorry for your loss. I am sad for Mikey. |
| anonymous (207.200.116.195) -- Monday, March 20 2006, 06:47 am I knew a guy name John Desoto. His teenage son(John Boo) hung himslef in the bedroom closet, over a girlfriend. I always think why? Why must Mikey, John Boo go to this extreme? he parents & friends will always wonder if they could of done something for the rest of their lives. Sorry about the lost of your friend Scorpio. |
| Scorpio (71.194.78.64) -- Monday, March 20 2006, 10:22 pm It just doesn't make any sense, even to any extent, of how or why someone could even bring themselves to such an end.. It's so ironic though.. It wasn't even intentional. He was trying to get high by chokin' himself, 'cause he didn't have any other way of escape.. Any other way to forget, no liquor n' nothin' to smoke. Well, he escaped all right.. But I really appreciate both of your concerns, I really do. Thank you both, it means a lot. |
