Agony
19 March, 2006
Author: Mukhthar
Yea Girl, can't you appear,
When they question me,
And I cower in fear,
For they don't know me.
You were my only hope,
My lantern in murky times,
When I doubted my own scope,
Your faith convinced me I was fine.
Through the clutches of the snare,
Of contempt, deceit, self-pity and despair,
I saw an opening to flee,
To regain myself, to be free.
